By the time David King was placed in the ambulance, he was awake but he couldn’t speak properly. He was slurring his words and it appeared that he was unaware of his surroundings. The paramedic asked Damon if he was going driving with them and Damon said that he was driving with his own car.
He had no idea what was wrong with his father and he couldn’t stop wondering as he climbed in his car. Damon dialed his mother’s number, immediately but she did not answer. He starts his car and drove to the hospital. He never thought he’d see the inside of this building again and so soon at that.
Damon spent the rest of the day in the hospital. His father was unaware of his surroundings and the doctor told Damon that his father had a stroke and asked Damon if he has been under a lot of stress late
