Alarmed, Damon ran to his brother’s room. It was empty. The bed was empty, without any sheets. The room was spotless. The bed side tables were empty and Damon walked over to his cupboards and noticed that it was empty. No clothes in sight.  Everything was empty. The room look like there was no one staying in it and it was clear that Preston left. He ran away from home. He was gone. Damon felt his heart break. It all made sense now. His brother’s behaviour these past few weeks finally made sense and Damon’s suspicions about it was right. His brother did act like he was leaving, because he was leaving.
