Monday morning, Andrea strolled into the school parking lot. Her weekend had been extremely busy and she felt exhausted. Friday night she had started working at Milky Lane and she could finally quit her job at the club she was working at. She worked the entire weekend and then she had to homework still and make sure her father and brother comes home to clean house and had food to eat. Jason was practicing really hard for the competition that was coming up and she wanted him to have energy for it and not help her around the house.
She wanted him to reach his dream. It would be what their mother would want for him.
Her father, on the other hand, wanted her to enjoy her teenage life. “It only comes once” he would always say, “and I would hate that you spent it worrying about me and Jason.”
