The second the front door was open I bolted up to the bedroom and jumped onto the bed. Instantly I crawled under the covers, wrapping myself in them as I took a deep breath as the scent of home. I snuggled against the pillow and heard Raymond chuckle from the doorway. Even though I slept all day yesterday there was nothing like laying in your own bed.
"You know you should still be careful" he said coming towards the bed.
"But I'm healing now" I protested even though I couldn't stop smiling.
I felt the bed dip slightly as he sat on the edge of the bed beside me, placing his arm on the other side of me and leaning on it. We stayed like that silent for a moment before I opened one eye and poked him in the side.
"What?" he asked but not rudely.
"Join me" I answered closing my eyes again.
