Chapter Thirty Seven,
It was strange to be back here, these woods felt so homely, yet there were no longer my home, the scent of wolves was everywhere, and I knew it would not be long before Guards would arrive to take me to my father. Richard and I had the element of surprise, we can shift, they cannot, restricted by the full moon, but this was something we would keep under wraps unless it became necessary, or one of us loses our control! Richard was standing tall, and again I found myself looking at my mate with pride, he was so handsome, with such an air of authority, it almost made me want to mate with him right here, despite what was going on around us. Catching my feelings Richard smirked at me and winked,
