It was a lie. Avery never mentioned anything about accompanying her anywhere. I wanted to test my wife's reaction to this.
So far, I could tell that she was not happy about it. She didn't show a horrible reaction, but Freya didn't react like that. She was good at holding back her emotions at times; I was beginning to notice that about her. In fact, I was beginning to notice little things that I hadn't noticed before.
