"Are you sure that this is a good idea?" I ask Arthur. My brother seemed to think that this was the safest place for me to be.
He was good friends with Lucas's family, and that is where he wanted me to stay. He knew that he could trust them. After all, I was carrying Lucas's baby. He knew that they would protect me and my unborn baby with their lives.
Lucas sacrificed plenty for his family; I knew how grateful they were to him and how much they loved him. That was why I understood why my brother would bring me here.
