I shift back before Zodiac can hit the ground. She fainted. s**t.
“She had to know the truth, Ren. I’m sorry, but the longer we left it, the worse it would be,” Zeus says to me. I know he is right because the guilt was eating me alive and I couldn’t keep letting that guilt fester and grow inside of me.
I lift Zodiac in my arms and carry her back. I am not taking her to her house. There are too many memories of what I did there for her. So I take her to the pack house. I don’t want to do this, but I have to.
She will destroy the pack, she will try to kill me and even though I would let her, she needs to see the truth. The truth of what her father and the old alpha had planned for her. So I will keep her locked up in the luna suite. Even if I have to chain her to the bed.
