My heart was beating a mile a minute and I couldn’t seem to control my breathing. All I could focus on was Alek’s hand on mine, how rough and comforting it was, the way he interlaced our fingers and the way his thumb stroked the back of my hand.  Alek Volkov was driving me insane and he does this all with a look of triumph on his mischievous face.  “What are you doing?” I whisper out.
