I enjoyed seeing Thomas and Alexia again. I thought it might be awkward for Trevor to see his parents embrace me, but he didn't seem bothered a bit. In fact, he smiled as much as I did at seeing Clarice happy. The stew was amazing, and the cookies were almost as good as Winnie's, but I'd never tell her that.
I smiled when Jack and Chrissy excused themselves halfway through dinner. Chrissy even hugged Trevor goodnight before they left. I had asked both of them to help me plan a surprise for Clarice, since Jack could use magic to do what I asked. It won't be perfect until I can actually use my own magic, but it is the only place that made sense to ask Clarice to be my wife.
