I normally update daily. Many chapters will have more than one character's point of view.
This story is for the 18+ year-old reader only. There's adult language, a little bit of s*xual content, violence, etc. I will not post trigger warnings about these. I apologize upfront for anything that may be triggering to the reader. So if you are sensitive to such things, or are under the age of 18, please do not read any further. If you do decide to read further, you do so at your own risk.
This story is meant to be fun, lighthearted, and comedic. You’ll see a few characters from previous stories, though this is by no means a sequel.
Lastly, but certainly not least, I hope you have an enjoyable reading experience.

Prologue
His Funny Little Wolf Girl
The sounds of snarls and howls could be heard all around them as they hurried to get clear of the war zone. All around them, warriors on both sides lay dead or were dying while the battle raged on. No one paid them any mind and that suited him perfectly as he protectively guided his mate and newborn baby through the mayhem.
“Gavon, where are we going?” She asked him, and he just smiled tenderly and, with all the confidence he could muster, he said firmly. “To your Father. He’ll protect us. We have to hurry, now, my love. Watch your footing.”
He had hoped they’d gotten away unseen but sadly, they had not. Soon enough, he could hear paws pounding into the ground behind them as they ran for their lives.
“We’re never going to make it! They’ll catch us!” She said, causing him to hurriedly look around for anything they could use. “Here, let’s hide here. Once they go past us, we can run another way.”
Surprisingly, their newborn seemed to take it all in stride. Never crying or causing a fuss. Perhaps she knew now was not the time to show off her amazing vocal skills. Who knows? But she kept quiet as the little family hid themselves in the bushes and watched as the rogues ran past them in a feverish frenzy to sink their rabid teeth into something. Anything.
“Come on!” He told her in a soft whisper as he helped her to her feet, and they ran off in a different direction. They hadn’t gone far when he heard a twig snap which was followed quickly by a low, menacing growl. The sound came from behind them, and he knew immediately what he needed to do.
They didn’t have long before the rogues caught up to them at this point, so without stopping, he told his mate, “Natalie, I need you to go on ahead of me. Please, baby. No arguments. Get our baby girl to safety! I love you so much! Just keep running. We’re not far out now. Your Dad’s pack is just over that ridge. You can get there and send help back to me.”
“What?! No! I’m not leaving you!” She cried, as she tightened her grip on his hand. “You have to, baby. It’s the only way to save her. To save us. Go, get help, and hurry.” He pulled his hand from hers, kissed her cheek, then urged her on her way.
“Hurry. Don’t look back. I’ll hold them off for as long as I can.” He pushed her in the direction of the ridge and watched her look back at him, tears running steadily down her cheeks before she finally turned away and ran. Once she was on her way, he tilted his head and let out a howl, hoping to draw the pack warriors out.
He didn’t care about himself. But they’d protect his mate and daughter.
Of course, the thing he didn’t think about, was that in doing so he also gave away his position. When that realization dawned on him, he took off, running in the opposite direction from his mate. Unfortunately, it didn’t take them long to descend and within minutes he was surrounded by five scroungy-looking wolves.
They snarled and growled as they slowly closed in around him, and he knew this was it. All he could do now was hope he’d bought his mate and daughter the time they needed to get away.
At the same time, somewhere not too far away, Natalie was running as fast as her long legs would carry her. She could hear her mates howl, and wanted to run back to him. But his words of despair for her and their daughter kept repeating in her mind.
He was giving everything to make sure they got away. She had to do the same. No matter the price. But even through her panic she could hear them closing in. She knew she wasn’t going to make it even though her father’s pack territory wasn’t that far off at that point.
So she did the only thing she could and found someplace to gently lay her daughter down, hiding her under the brush and bushes before running off on a diagonal path. Her hope was to draw her father’s patrols out by screaming her head off. And scream she did. As if her life depended on it.
Because it did.
But moreover, her precious daughter’s life depended on it too. “HELP! HELP! SOMEONE PLEASE, HELP!” She shouted over and over until a gruff voice answered back, “Ain’t nobody gonna help you, b*tch. But I’ll tell yah what. You be a good girl, and we’ll let you live.”
She was looking around frantically. They had her surrounded, though there were only three of them. She thought maybe she could actually take them down. After all, she had alpha blood in her, didn’t she? She wasn’t a weak wolf by any means. “No answer, huh? Well, suit yourself, then.” The leader of this trio said, and one of the others leapt at her, trying to grab her arms.
She evaded his grasp and punched him in the face for good measure. “OW! YOU F*CKIN B*TCH!” he growled and tackled her to the ground where he proceeded to rip the clothes from her body.
She fought back, though. Screaming and thrashing the entire time until they heard the sound of angry growls all around them. One second she was being clawed at relentlessly, the next there was nothing. Not even any pain. They were gone and her world was slowly going dark.
“Nat? What the h*ll?! Natalie, talk to me! It’s me! Ashton! Come on, sweetheart, talk to me!” The beta said as he tried desperately to find a way to stop the bleeding. He yanked off his shirt and covered her body, then used the cotton tee to try and clog the flesh that was torn open so severely he could see some of her insides and bones.
“B..bay..bee.” She’d managed to rasp out and the Beta’s face went even paler, his head snapping up to meet his warrior's eyes as he said, “Search everywhere! Find that baby!”
“Yes, beta.” They said as they began searching the woods for any sign of a baby. Not even a second passed when a huge black wolf with a large white dot on its forehead which ran down between its eyes appeared from between the trees, bounding toward Ashton.
As it came closer, it shifted back into the form of a large man who swiftly knelt down by the girl. “Nat? Natalie? Oh goddess, no!! Natalie?! Answer me!” The man was in tears as he called out his daughter’s name until he finally threw back his head and let out the most mournful howl anyone has ever heard.
Of course, the pack began to follow suit as, one-by-one, they all answered his howl with mournful howls of their own. The alpha didn’t seem to hear them, though. He was too busy tenderly trying to clean away some of the blood from his daughter’s beautiful face. Once he was through, he tenderly lifted her in his arms and began the slow walk back.
“The child?” He asked Ashton of the granddaughter he had yet to even meet. “I have our warriors out scouring the woods for her now.”
“Let me know the moment you find her. And the mate too.” The alpha said sadly. His broken heart turning him numb as he slowly carried his precious daughter back to her home.
They were about halfway there when they heard what sounded like timber wolves howling in the distance and Ashton couldn’t help but absently wonder what the pack seemed so happy about. They would be moving on soon enough. They like to roam and would sometimes leave this area for years before coming back again. Not all wolves do that. But these were nomadic in nature so they went where the hunting was good.
It was just as well, though. These f*cking rogues would only kill them too if they got their paws on them. He didn't have a problem with rogues in general, but this particular group was a nasty bunch. They caused trouble wherever they went and would kill on sight.
The pack had lost a few good members to these f*cktards over the past few months. And now this. The alpha might never recover from this.
Natalie was his only child. It was hard for him to send her off to be with Gavon when she found him. Thankfully, they weren’t too far away so they could visit whenever they wanted. But now that he’s lost her, and her newborn baby, there’s no telling what he’ll be like after tonight.
“Sir? We found a place where the baby was hidden. But by the time we’d found it, the baby was gone. All that was left behind was this.” The warrior told Ashton as he handed him a small pink blanket with the name ‘Destiny’ embroidered on it.
“Sir? Is the Alpha going to be alright?” The warrior asked with genuine concern, but all Ashton could do was smile as he said, “Thank you. Please keep looking just in case you find something.”
“Yes sir.” The warriors said sadly as Ashton turned to go into the pack-house and give his alpha, and friend, the bad news.
