When Ivan and Earl got home from the training, Ivan was a bit moody and Earl immediately noticed it.
“Dude, I’m just going to order something. I’m too tired to cook.”Earl said and then he grabbed their landline phone and dialled a number.
While Earl was on the phone, Ivan went to his room and was greeted by Jackie’s enthusiastic jumps. He sat on the ground and ruffled Jackie’s fur for a few minutes, before he stood up and went into the bathroom to take a shower. While under the warm cascading water, he propped his arms against the tiled wall. He remembered what happened earlier when he saw his mother came in with the Alpha. He remembered how glowing his mother looked earlier. She looked happy with the fresh mark on her neck.
He knows that is was bound to happen one way or another
