He walks over and joins me on top of the table, turning so he sits facing me and crisscrossing his legs. I follow suit and take my drink then set the bottle on the table in between us.  “Have you really never saved or helped anyone before me?” I ask.  “Never,” he answers seriously.  I quickly reach out and grab the bottle before he can. then take a sip. He looks at me with a mixture of surprise and amusement but doesn’t say anything, apparently deciding to indulge me. “Then why do you keep helping and saving me?”  “I don’t know. Just keeps happening without me realizing I’m doing it.
