Luckily for Theora, Zinistra stuck to her word, and within the day her ranking was changed back to A. When asked, she answered that she had been confused with an injured trainee, and that was it. When the time came to pick a mission the next week, however, she had to pick what turned out to be a C-rank Disaster Relief Mission to hold her part of the agreement (not that she had a choice), and this time, her roommates were not buying her explanation for it.
"You've always been vocal about wanting to pick the best missions!" Willow exclaimed at lunch after they'd handed in their picks. "Why the heck would you pick a random C-rank disaster relief mission in the east over the A-rank mission in the Capital? It's a festival security mission, Theora, a festival! It's bound to be plenty of fun!
