First, I hope that you have safely made it back to the Academy in the Northern Lands. Although we are enjoying the first days of spring here in the Capital, my sporadic journeys to the north have taught me, if anything, that one can never be prepared for the cold up there. Since I told Jewel to deliver this letter to you upon your return to the Academy, I'm assuming you've had a swift trip back and are most likely already resuming what I can only guess is a harrowing yet impressive training routine there.
