I did not receive any message from Devlin this morning; it was a relief in a way. I had no intention of confronting him about Trisha immediately. I would get the facts straight before we discuss the matter civilly.
It helped that he said he loved me last night. I believe him. I practically couldn’t blame him for his entanglements with other women. I complicated our otherwise healthy relationship, it wasn’t his fault if we have a messy set up...it was mine.
I wanted a rewind, a clean slate. A new beginning--
If I could erase, undo and delete those wrong decisions I made, I've done it already. Many things happened between us over the past six years; most of the events were worthy of being forgotten.
