Life was going on well. Zane and I finally got married. We had a small destination wedding with a limited crowd. A week later, we were on our honeymoon in the Maldives. Zane had booked a flawless, stunning location for our honeymoon. We were at peace after everything had been settled perfectly. Michael was sentenced to death, but later on, he committed suicide in prison. Crushed and numb, Patricia Clerk sold all their properties and donated the money to charity. Then, she bought a small house in her village and started to live a simple life. Anastasia was in disbelief when I told her that her best friend was dead and she refused to speak to me after that.
