CHAPTER 33 – Possessive Zane
Cherry’s POV
“A murder?” Zane’s eyes enlarged with shock while I wiped away a bead of sweat that had popped out from my forehead.
“After you asked me to find out about the information regarding the investigation, I contacted the Washington PD. That’s when I found out about Adam’s death. I am sorry to hear about him, Zane,” he said. Zane gulped and sighed.
“How do you know that this is a murder case?” Zane asked.
“I am not sure, but they suspect it to be a murder. I have discussed this with my superiors and we are leaving for Washington PD soon. I hope your Dad’s case and Adam’s case will be handled by the CIA in the future. I will let you know more details about these cases once I get there,” he explained.
