My heart was beating really fast. I was a really good girl today. I did all my chores and stayed out of everyone’s way. “Please Moon Goddess, don’t let her come today.” I pressed my body into the mattress, trying to hide. Everyone was sleeping. Danny, mom and dad were all in their rooms. My bedroom door opened, I could smell her disgusting scent of kiwi shampoo and alcohol.
