We walked along the shore for a while, just enjoying the view and letting the sound of crashing waves soothe us. The two happy couples walked father ahead of us, holding hands and chatting away with their significant other. Max and Emily seemed to be in deep conversation, getting to know each other and probably realizing how much in common they have. I stuffed the empty paper bag in my pocket and reached over to grab my donut holes. I’ve never been shy to eat around people, as a wolf I have a pretty big appetite but even then females don’t usually eat as much as males. I seem to be an exception to all the rules and I’m okay with that.
