I slowly open my eyes to see the early light fill my bedroom. I sit up and stretch my arms, today is the day I officially become the new Alpha of the Blue Moon pack. I look at my phone, the date reads June 4th, it’s 6 am. The morning is peaceful, silence dominates my surroundings. I haven’t had time to breath much these last few years, sometimes I wouldn’t shower for four days. Not because I didn’t want to but because the day just didn’t have enough hours in it. I open my balcony doors and sit on the floor, dangling my legs through the balustrade. I close my eyes and breathe the morning air slowly, almost tasting the woods on my tongue.

Today everything will change, our allies will come join us for the Alpha ceremony. Today I will no longer be the Alpha's daughter, today I start to lead the family business, the pack and the company. Goddess I pray you help me through this, I know I can do this now but I pray you keep my strength through it all. I will not disappoint those rooting for me, I look at the sky wishing to see Daniel’s face. I will do this for us brother, I will make you proud. I wipe away the escaped tear from my eye and take a deep breath. I get up, heading towards my shower. I stare at my nude reflection in the mirror, the dark eye circles under my eyes have disappeared. My skin is glowing in its olive tone, my green eyes look confident and there’s a smile on my lips.

I stand thanking my parents silently for their genes, finally deciding to step into the warm water. I make sure my skin is smooth without a single hair, I wrap my robe around my body and walk to my vanity. I do my makeup, something natural but still beautiful. My mother and I decided on a white Balmain suit for the ceremony so I applied my favorite red lipstick. After I blow dry my hair I decide to leave it down, quickly running my hair straighter through it just in case of any imperfections. After I put on my nude red bottoms I head downstairs, the omegas are setting the table for breakfast. I hear footsteps coming down the stairs, my mother's scent fills my nose, I turn to see her in a red dress with black red bottoms. Wow.

“Mother, you look absolutely breathtaking!” I hug her close and hear her giggle.

“My love, you're the one who looks unbelievably beautiful, you will be the best Alpha.” She said as a tear rolled down her beautiful hazel eyes.

“Yes she will, it’s been an honor to teach you but the biggest honor has been to be your father Aliyah.” My father walked up to us pulling us in for a big hug. I forced back the tears from falling down and smiled big at them both.

“Thank you daddy, I love you both so much.” I said pressed against his black suit. After a minute we all composed our selves again and sat down for breakfast. The house was absolutely spotless, elegant decorations were set up for the big event.

After breakfast me and father drove to Cross Shipping where we would sign the paperwork, making me the new CEO. Our lawyer Andrew Grey was waiting for us, me and Andrew had become close friends. He was the only human who knew all of our secrets, he was the best lawyer you could have. He has helped me purchase a couple of hotels and nightclubs in Vegas. As well as condos, nightclubs and hotels in New York but that was done last month. He’s an important player in the expansion of the Cross name, I wanted to make sure our wealth was never questioned. Making sure my pack was well taken care of was one of my main priorities.

We walked inside and headed straight to the elevator, pressing the 20th floor button and insitering his access key. My dad looked at me with such pride and happiness I couldn’t help but feel like a badass. We walked into his office, soon to be mine where Andrew was sitting with the documents on the desk. Andrew was a very handsome middle eastern man, tall, dark hair with the beard to match, light brown eyes with a pointed nose. He was dressed in a navy blue suit with gold colored cuffs, tie and hanker shift to match.

“Well Ms. Cross don’t you look beautiful.” Andrew’s voice sounded a little flustered. I smirked at him before shaking his head, I know he has a crush on me. Dad shook his hand a little too hard, telling him to behave.

“Mr. Cross, happy to see you sir. The documents are ready, you both just need to sign and Ms. Cross will officially be the CEO of Cross Shipping.” He said handing my father a pen. My father grabbed the pen with one final look at me as he signed the documents, his being radiating happiness. He kissed my forehead and handed me the pen, I grabbed it and looked at him. He nodded his head and I signed my full name.

“Congratulations Aliyah Rosali Cross, you are now officially the CEO.” Andrew said as he read the papers before he packed them up.

“Andrew before you go I want you to look into some properties I have my eye on in Italy.” I said, handing him a folder I had prepared for him. I would build a hotel on one of the properties and build a strip club on the other. I would start looking into land in France next and definitely Mexico, I plan to expand there. He grabbed the folder and scanned through it, raising his eyebrow.

“This looks wonderful, I can find out who owns it and make an offer on your behalf if you’d like?”

“Go ahead, keep me informed because I plan to buy property in France next.” I said, smiling at his shocked expression. After Andrew left me and father headed back home, we needed to greet the Alpha’s coming to the ceremony.

“I’m very proud of you, I think you’re making great business decisions. The clubs and hotels will definitely add to the income and there will always be business for them.” My father said as we pulled onto the road leading to the house.

“Thank you, I believe we’ll be in almost every country in about 10 years. The property I bought in New York doesn’t need much, I’m having it be remodeled. The ones in Vegas also just need to be remodeled, they should be opened in about a year in a half. In the meantime I’ll be looking for more land to buy, for Mexico, South America and France of course.” I responded feeling confident.

“I’m sure you’ll make it all happen, your ambition is great just remember to make room in your busy schedule to actually have a life. You’ll eventually find your mate and fall in love, then of course you’ll want to have a pup or two.” He looked at me through the corner of his eye. I laughed at him for trying to slide in the fact that he wants grandchildren.

“I’ll cross that bridge when I get there dad, for now I have goals for this pack and for myself. Of course I know I’ll need an heir but there’s still time.” With a sigh I began to get lost in my thoughts. My wolf became saddened by the thought of not finding our mate but I needed to focus on being Alpha first. I had a feeling tonight would be eventful, as we pulled up to the house I told father I would be in my room. I needed some alone time before this afternoon and time was not my friend today.
