The cold morning air drifted into the bedroom, wrapping itself up my naked body like a wine vine. Ivy’s slow breathing beside me and the city noise filled the penthouse. I pushed myself up from the bed and looked around, the place was a beautiful mess. Just like the redhead sleeping beside me, even in all her brokenness Ivy’s beauty shines through. The irony. Yesterday was s**t. s**t. s**t. s**t. How did things get so f****d up so fast? My world had come tumbling down on me and I wasn’t ready. There were too many questions left unanswered, important questions. I know sooner or later I’ll have to have a conversation with my parents about this but until then I plan to stall.
