CHAPTER SIX

Aaron's POV:

I was asked by Ella to dress up in my finest clothes. Don't know what she has in her mind.. getting me all dressed.

I didn't question her much and was ready within 7pm as Ella said she was going to pick me up and she will kill me if I'm late.

I heard the door bell when I was fixing my tie. I saw Ella who was wearing a beautiful red gown. I never noticed but Ella is actually quite hot. And I might start taking interest in her.

On the way to the party me and Ella had a good time. We chatted about various things.

"Doesn't it looks like we are on a date Aaron?" She asked

I blushed a little hearing her but didn't give any answer. Surely I wouldn't mind if someone mistook us for lovers instead of best friends.

Ella didn't bother much with me not giving her an answer as she knows how I usually am. She continued to chat and laugh like she always does..which I like so much.

Ella's POV:

I wanted to confess my feelings to the guy i like though i mentally prepared myself that I will take it normally if he rejects me and don't let our friendship be ruined. I now tried to find a chance where I will be alone with him and finally be able to confess.

I thought that no matter what I will confess to him tonight as it was getting hard for me to hold onto these feelings and Aaron was quite popular even though he was unsocial so I had the fear that some other person might take him away.

I smiled to myself while thinking that I will propose to him today.

Aaron noticed me and asked

"What are you smiling about?"

I shook my head

"Uh, nothing! I was just thinking I will be all alone in the party with no partner!" I lied

"Nooope! You will be with me sweetheart!" Aaron giggled making me blush a little

Xanthus's POV:

I followed Aaron and that Ella when they left from his home in a disguise.

I was closely following them but seeing them together like this made my blood boil.

I clenched his fists at that as I was following close enough to hear but not be seen. "You've got to be kidding me," I said to myself, noting how nervous Aaron was and feeling like I needed to do something quick before I'd have to kill her instead of play with her.

I thought fast and decided to brush by them, knocking them both back and away from one another as I glared at her and then turned back to talk with Aaron. "I'm sorry, I should watch where I'm going!" I said and offered my hand out to him to help him up.

Thankfully they still didn't find out that it's me.

Aaron's POV:

I and Ella were walking by chitchatting just then an unfamiliar person bumped into us causing both of us fall on the ground.

While I was trying to get up I saw the unfamiliar person extend his hand towards me.

The person seemed to be nice to me as he admitted his mistake by himself. I took his hand and got up.

I smiled at him and said

"Don't worry about it! Even we should have watched our step!"

I then noticed Ella who was trying to get up but couldn't as she had scratched her knee. I went to her and pulled her up by the waist.

"Are you okay? Can you walk?" I asked in a worried tone

"No! It hurts!" Ella replied

"Okay then hold onto me tight. I will help you!" I offered help

Ella wrapped her arms around my neck and tried to walk.

I looked at the unfamiliar person and said with a smile

"Well. We have somewhere we have to go so we'll leave. Have a good night Mr.!"

Then me and Ella both left after I had called a taxi.

Xanthus's POV:

I saw both of them leaving while I fisted my hands into a ball.

I will get her out of my way tonight.

Aaron is MINE AND MINE ONLY.
