Fire
His last words replaying like an echo in my head. It was like a fire burnt all the oxygen in my body.
Umihip ang malamig na hangin sa paligid. The humidity of my heart increases rapidly. Gustong bumuka ng mga labi ko para tuluyan ng tuldokan ang mainit nilang usapan. Ngunit mabilis nang naka kamb'yo si Ellwood dito.
"Teka sinong asawa ba yang tinutukoy mo? Definitely not Meredith, cause' as far as I remember, mahigit tatlong taon nang patay ang asawa n'ya."
"Shut the f**k up, Ellwood! You know whom am I talking about!" Gabriel spout. His scowl grew ever more pronounced.
Ellwood gave me one last look, then squared his jaw.
"Hindi ka naman pala tanga para hindi maitindihan ang sinasabi ko." He said, smirked lifted to his lips.
