BLAIR’S POV
“Mummy!” Hailey exclaims, running into me and wrapping her arms around my knees.
I’m just about to lift her when she peeks behind me. Her eyes widen the moment she spots Blaise.
“Uncle Blaise!” she screeches, darting past me.
“My angel,” he says, scooping her into his arms.
She giggles, hugging him tightly as he murmurs something into her ear.
With an exhale, I kick off my heels and sink into the sofa. Blaise is still carrying Hailey, and whispering to her like he hasn’t just spent the entire day on his feet. I shake my head, watching them. I don’t know how he isn’t exhausted. We haven’t had a single break today, going from getting our wedding certificate straight into a full wedding party.
“Baby, come here. Mummy wants to tell you something.”
