At the end of the week, Linda finally called Phin into her office with a drawn expression on her face. “You seem rather calm about all of this,” she remarked. “I’ve done nothing wrong, so, yes, I’m calm.” Linda hesitated, her lips parted. She drummed her fingers on her desk. “I actually have an interesting bit of news.” “Even more interesting than Sterling submitting a complaint about me?” “Believe it or not, yes.” Phin blinked in surprise.
