Alya POV There was nothing left to do when Leo went out of the palace. So, when John’s secretary arrived, I quickly whisked her off from his claws to Emily’s corner and showed her where everything was. It was supposed to be Aunt Betty’s job to show her the flow of things, but I didn’t mind starting by giving her a background. Aunt Betty had things to do and had gone home to get a few things. Actually, I didn’t really need John’s secretary. I knew my twin brother only wanted to help and, in return, I also wanted him to feel that I could count on him and that I trust him. As for me, I didn’t have time for self-pity for what Leo did to me earlier. I had things to do and these would be my distraction for the meantime before I go to bed and think about my Leo again.
