Alya POV
I didn’t know what to make out of Leo being the new Security head.
“Why didn’t I know about this?” I tried to control the fury growing inside me. I just felt I was sidestepped. Anything going around the palace had to be made known to me. Even if I was not the person to decide on an issue, it was to be made known to me.
“Alya, relax. Leo didn’t even know about it.” He laughed a bit.
I was seething more than ever.
How could John laugh at a moment like this?
“John, I knew Dad gave you the assignment to make changes to the security, but you still have to check with me before you make any decision,” I spat angrily.
