We stayed in the meeting room for another five minutes. We concluded with sending people to spy on Iris, Marco, and also Gen. Davide. Dad had to check with the jail administrator on Isabelle’s visitors and tighten the security around as there might be an attempt to bring her out.
Before some of us could proceed to work, we had to attend to the ‘surprise’ visitors, who had decided to rest and wait for us in the pavilion in the garden. Uncle Lucas was to attend first to the new army guards and had to let them settle in the conference room for a briefing. Aunt Betty had to go back to the office. Ember might already have drowned at work and also to answering calls to Mom’s office.
We were so intrigued about who the visitors were, but I somehow had an idea who they were. I giggled
