I was in a daze for about an hour in the room assigned to me inside the palace. I was not expecting what Alya had said and reverted to being mad at her. I could not let her see how affected I was.
She said she would step down, she was ready to give up everything.
She cannot do that, right? She will leave her life as a royal to become a commoner like me, to be with me? That is insane!
