“Delilah!”
My voice echoed through the empty hallways of the Palace. There wasn't a person in sight and I started fearing the worst.
That I was too late...
“Delilah!”
I scram angrily as I punched into the nearby wall and my chest heaved up and down from the exertion. The wall cracked all the way to the foundation and there was a dent the size of my fist.
“They're gone.”
I snapped my head to Alaric. He was leaning against the wall and looking at me with a frown. I could see Anabelle standing slightly behind him and I rushed towards them.
“Gone where?”
I asked as I desperately grabbed onto Alaric and looked into his eyes. I could see how hostile they were and I didn't know what I ever did wrong to him. His eyes were swirling black with anger.
“To fight in a War that you caused.”
