Evelyn tugged Grace back inside to help her pick an outfit for tomorrow. Later that night, it was time for Grace and Raphael to head back to the city. Just before they left, Grace gave Evelyn a subtle wink. “Come find me tomorrow afternoon.” “You got it!” Evelyn grinned wide. Raphael glanced down at Grace but said nothing. “See you tomorrow!” Evelyn leaned in to kiss both Grace’s cheeks, then that's the turn for Grace and their father—slightly awkward, but she still followed through. Roland stood at the door, watching as Raphael guided Grace into the car with a hand on her shoulder. He didn’t look away until the car looped around the garden and disappeared out of sight.
