Rachel I sat on the edge of the small bed in my cold room, still wearing my wedding dress. The fabric felt heavy now, like chains around my body. I had taken off the flowers from my hair, but I could not bring myself to change clothes yet. Everything felt unreal. This was my wedding night, but there was no joy. Only fear. The room was quiet.
