Giselle was closing up the quiet library, gathering the scattered books in a pile to sort the next morning, checking the aisles for anything out of place, and turning off her computer, thinking it was already her sixth month of working there. It had gone by in a flash and, surprisingly, the job she'd taken a bit out of necessity and feeling like she didn't have much of a choice, had really grown on her. She was surprised herself, but she'd come to really love it. It hadn't been easy at first, learning all the software and where what section was, but the city council staff had been really helpful and understanding, and she loved seeing the kids every day. She looked forward to seeing Alden with his class the most, as it was good to see him with his friends, growing a bit more confident ever
