RUBY M'CCLURE P.O.V The sky hung low over the cemetery’ thick with dark storm clouds. Rain fell steadily, turning the earth beneath everyone’s feet into mud. The weather seemed fitting. As though even heaven had decided to mourn. Rows upon rows of black umbrellas stretched across the cemetery. People stood silently beneath them, who travelled from far away to pay their respects. Yet despite the crowd, I felt completely alone. Isolated. Detached. Like I was standing behind a sheet of glass while the rest of the world continued moving without me.
