Finding Evan before me, I wiped my tears hastily. Getting on my feet, I forced a smile.
“Don't worry, she is just being unreasonable,” Evan said, probably trying to console me. “You really don't have to leave. I can talk to my dad. I will tell him how troublesome Emily is getting. I am sure he will convince her.”
“Evan, it's alright.” It took a large amount of energy for me to keep my smile on. “To be honest, if I was in her place, I would also do the same. I don't want anyone to invade my privacy like I was doing in your lives.”
