Eralia’s POV
As I head toward the small entrance hall to move our clothes, thinking that I can put them in Benny’s machine while everyone is busy with the dog, I can hear my siblings all talking excitedly as loud splashing comes from the bathroom. It seems all three kids are enjoying having the dog in the apartment. I’m secretly glad that Benny took Brutus from the guy across from me, I always hated how he treated her, but I couldn’t do anything for her, I can barely take care of the kids and Mum.
‘We could call her dog’ Tanner states loudly.
‘You can’t call her dog, dummy’ Austin retorts, ‘if we shout that outside every dog in the neighbourhood will run at us.’
‘Hey bud, we don’t call people names, remember?’ Benny’s quiet voice floats down the hallway to me.
‘Oh yeah, sorry Tanner’
