Eralia’s POV I take a deep breath as I glance around the small kitchen of the apartment above the bakery. I asked Mackenzie if I could use the telephone up here on my break, saying I needed to make a private phone call. The baker had readily given me the key, telling me to help myself to anything I wanted whilst I am taking my lunch break. I pick up my cell from the table, opening the contacts and scrolling until I land on the one for Liberty and Austin’s school. Grabbing the landline phone that I took from the living room, I type in the phone number with shaky fingers, closing my eyes for a brief second before I press the call button.
