Sophia: The beep, beep, beeping of my phone shook me from a twelve-hour sleep. It was messages and calls from my parents, Logan, Wit, and even Toby. I don't know why. I couldn't piece it together, and I didn't understand why it felt like he was the only one I could reply to, but he did. He felt comfortable. "I made it back to New York this morning. I'm safe."
