Keaton and I got off the plane and headed toward the luggage carousel. I was grateful to be on the ground again. Next time I traveled, it was going to either be by train or by car. We found our bags quickly and headed to the pick-up area. One of his men was bringing a vehicle for us, the others were waiting in the town at the base of Maiden’s Heart’s mountain. Blood Moon was based in Colorado, so they had been driving most of the day to meet up with us. A black SUV pulled up and a man got out. He bowed briefly to Keaton and took our bags to put in the back. Keaton got in the driver’s seat and I sat in front with him while his warrior took the back.
