Logan’s POV I twiddled with the miniature key with our pack crest engraved on it in my fingers as Alina’s head rested on my shoulder. We were speeding through the familiar, diverse landscape of Oregon. My home. The broad deep-green swath and lush farmlands swept past my window in the cab and I inhaled, feeling a mix of emotions at being back. As we drove away from the rugged Pacific coastline and towards the West, I started to see the faraway alpine mountains in the distance and the roads were nestled with thick, old growth of fir trees. Don’t get me wrong, I loved living in London. The impressive and futuristic lifestyle was exciting, but nothing could beat the true beauty of the sheer wilderness that Oregon had to offer.
