I stood at the top of the mountain looking out as the suns dim light splintered over the land that was dusted with snow. It was freezing; I pulled my coat closer to my body shielding me from cold. I felt Esme wrap her arms around my waist and I closed my eyes, the journey I would take would be my own and I was terrified.
