I lay looking up at the ceiling; I had been awake since the sun started to rise. I turned to look at Gabriel who lay beside me, he looked so at peace. I slowly got up and pulled on my underwear and my black silk robe, I walked towards the door glancing back at him before walking out. I walked towards my office closing the door behind me; I sat at my desk and pulled out three pieces of paper and three envelopes. As I wrote I held back tears, once I was done I placed the letters in the envelopes and placed them in the journal. I also placed everything I had found from the bridge and my mother’s diaries in a box with I lock, I was going to give this to Esme tonight before I have to leave.
