I start running towards the stairs. I can knock Sera down and kill her if I run into her. However, I get my familiar chocolate smell coming from the front entry to the castle. It smells strong, so it must be fresh.
I run as fast as I can while tracking the smell. It takes me to the entrance of Aynor and leads me out to the beach. I continue running in the sand. I see paw prints turn into human steps, so they must have shifted here. I keep following the steps. Since it’s dark out, I feel like I can travel in my wolf form. The moonlight helps light up the way the footsteps go. They disappear at the street, indicating she has gotten into a car.
If Laney has lost all her memories, the only place she would be going back to would be Shadow Moon. I ran for the ferry to their territory
