Dr. Evans came in after everyone gave us well wishes and left. I hope she came with discharge paperwork because technically this is honeymoon time. I spent my entire wedding on a hospital bed, and I didn’t need to spend my honeymoon here too!
She sits down next to the bed.
“I guess congratulations are in order. I have to say, I see some pretty crazy things in the hospital, but getting married on a hospital bed is definitely a new one for me.
