I did what I absolutely hate. I get Riley involved in this mess.
Being a powerful witch, Riley has the ability to teleport. We have her suppress her powers by drinking a specific tea. I asked her not to drink it yesterday so she could meet up with us. The kids would be safe at home, and Riley could help Laney get her memories back.
This wasn’t any decision for me, but I thought hard about this on the flight back to Shadow Moon. Ultimately I decided that I have to be there for my friend and Gamma. I know he would do the same for me. I, also, know that Riley has been dying to help. It seemed like the best way to keep everyone happy.
Trevor must be stressed out with everything. He hides it well, but I know him. I thought it would be a nice surprise when Riley shows up today.
