Reagan and Demi are on the front porch. Demi can’t believe King Joaquin is allowing them to stay there, not after all the horrible things she had heard about him. Reagan tells her Joaquin isn’t as terrible as they heard. But the King doesn’t take a s**t from anyone. Reagan tells her that he plans to stay in Kinghaven and mate with one of the women there. Even though the woman isn’t his true mate, he cares about her.
Demi is excited to hear that her son is finally talking about mating. She always thought he was in love with Francemia. She hugs him. “It’s about time. It’s time for both of us to start enjoying our lives.”
Starr enters the room to remind them they have some special guests arriving soon. Joaquin and Francemia expect everyone to be in the yard for the introduction.”
