Ian is in his backyard pacing, trying and wondering when Lycan King Joaquin will show up to kill him. He’s thinking about leaving Kinghaven when he hears the door slam and turns around looking at an angry Rahm charging at him. Rahm knocks Ian to the ground, punching him until both of their wolves surface.
Silver Rahm’s wolf jumps at Ian’s wolf, Mace, and they roll on the ground. Mace is on the bottom, and he kicks Silver off him. Silver bites his leg while Mace swings at him. Silver rips his leg off and Mace whines. Silver spits the leg out right before clawing Mace’s chest. Mace is snapping at Silver’s until he takes his last breath. After Silver kills Mace, he shifts to looking at Abbi, Ian's mate.
