"Kent, this is my son Theo." Richard spoke first, obviously sensing this weird tension as I just looked at Theo in confusion. Why was he even here? Shouldn't he be with whatever woman that was on the phone?
"He knows who I am." Theo stated cooly, his eyes not leaving mine for a single second.
"Oh..have you met before?" My mom asked in confusion.
"We have, and he had a lot of things to say when we did. Ava, can I have a word?" He suddenly asked, and I quickly shook my head no.
I didn't want to do this..not now..not with my dad around. It will just add more fuel to the fire.
"Fine, I guess we will do this here then." Theo shrugged and quickly came to my side.
Was he seriously going to address this right now?! In front of our parents?
