I stared out at the large building we had just pulled up to. Feeling my stomach twisting with nerves as I let out another loud sigh, making Theo chuckle.
"Are you really that nervous Kitten?" He asked playfully before squeezing my hand. "It's only been a week. Everyone just thinks you had to go take care of some personal family issues."
"Wait? You told them that? What type of personal family issues?" I asked, not realizing he didn't tell everyone that I quit.
"I just said one of your relatives was going through some health problems." He shrugged like it was no big deal.
"Theo! Now everyone is going to ask me about it..what do I say?!" I began to panic making him laugh before he swiftly unbuckled my seat belt and pulled me into his lap.
